Viscose rayon has a beautiful silky drape — but it's a little more delicate than cotton. Follow these steps and your viscose rayon kurta sets will stay soft and colour-true for years.
Washing
Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent, or use a gentle machine cycle inside a mesh bag. Avoid wringing or twisting — rayon is weakest when wet. Wash dark and bright colours separately for the first few washes.
Drying
Never tumble dry on high heat, which can shrink rayon. Press out excess water gently in a towel, then dry flat or on a padded hanger in the shade. Direct sun can fade rich prints.
Ironing & storage
Iron on a low-to-medium setting while slightly damp, ideally inside-out. Store on hangers to keep the drape and avoid deep creases.
